Redefining Retail: Footasylum's Flagship Newcastle Experience
Where Brand Meets Environment
Footasylum, a leading UK footwear and apparel retailer, approached Widd Signs to create a standout visual experience for their flagship Newcastle store. The project required innovative signage solutions that would enhance the customer journey while showcasing premium sports brands in an impactful way.
Project Deliverables:
- 42 Faux Neon plug-and-play wayfinding and sports brand signs with custom hook-on brackets
- 112 illuminated plug-and-play fabric light boxes ranging from 478mm x 478mm to 1200mm x 2400mm
- 220 custom fabric skins for flexible visual merchandising
- A bespoke ground floor cash desk sign (3300mm x 1950mm) featuring a 2000mm x 900mm halo-illuminated built-up shoe logo in faux neon
- Eye-catching ceiling-suspended entrance sign spanning 6500mm, constructed from built-up aluminium lettering with push-through faux neon-style illumination
Our plug-and-play signage systems were specifically designed to enable Footasylum staff to easily and safely reconfigure the retail environment as needed. This innovative approach provides the flexibility to refresh the in-store experience while maintaining brand consistency and visual impact.
